Hello all. I would first like to introduce myself, my name is Pete, and I drive a 99 GS aniversery. I blew my original motor up and decided to boost it. I am using a kinetics head gasket and arp headstuds temorarely to lower compression until i get internals.

Here is my setup

Garrett t3/t4 5 bolt ford .57 trim .60 A/R
Central mounted t3 flange manifold
1g bov
DSM fuel rail custom modified to my intake manifold with 450cc injectors. I have to run a fuel return line since i have a 99' and I will be using the DSM fuel pressure regulator.

The turbo will be internally wastegated at 10 psi with a T-25 actuator and flapper of a 2g GST.

I know everyone says I need an SFMU, but I am using an S-AFC to fully tune the car

The old oil pan has already been modified with a bung for the return and I have to wait to send the feed.

I used 2.5 inch mandrel bends to mock my IC piping. But now have hit a fork in the road. My DP, my manifold has the central flange location so that the DP isnt right on the ac lines. Anyone have any pics or suggestions on what to do?

You should use an sfmu, and an safc will not FULLY tune your car. 10 psi is too much if your not built. You'll just blow another engine. And for the dp you have one of two options. Make a custom one or ditch the ac.

The person that is tuning my car can tune without an FMU. ALso 10psi might be too much to be boosting all the time. I don't have to be at full boost all the time. Plus within a month Im using forged internals to lower compression more. According to this site. The stock bottom end can take up to 300whp. So as long as I'm easy on the car and not romping on it all the time I can hope it wont blow for the few weeks its in that condition. The down pipe always has to be custom I thought. does anyone have any pics of their DP's/

They might think they can, but it's not going to work.

With that argument aside, which I will be more than happy to share with everyone else when the car is running boost. But can people put some pics of their downpipes up so I can get an idea how to make it.

I'd realy like to see how this "Expert tuner" is planning to tune your car without a SFMU and with SAFC.

Anytakers on how long the car will last?

Get some exhuast wrap and wrap the a/c lines and the dp where they meet. Then you should be fine. That is what i did living in Las Vegas you need the a/c
