86841, Replacement for a Turbonetics Deltagate Wastegate Posted by rhui, Jun-13-05 09:53 AM Hey all, my meltagate finally melted on me... Just want to confirm, is the Tial 38mm wastegate direct replacement? Will I have fitment issues on a STAR manifold replacing the deltagate? Thnx, Ritchie

I guess I can just remake it... But I don't know how fitment is... i hope it doesn't hit the hood when I put engine back in...
86875, RE: Replacement for a Turbonetics Deltagate Wastegate Posted by MCubed45, Jun-14-05 04:05 AM if you've got a star mani hood clearance shouldn't be an issue as they oftne ofter the tial WG as an upgrade to the kit. i know it's a bit bigger but i haven't heard anyone with it complaing about it fitting.

I was able to swap the dumptube from one to the other with no issues. You might have a little problem with the Tial rubbing the padding underneath the hood (at least I know I did) but it's not a big deal.
