Just curious what you other turob'd automatics did to either avoid or correct this from happening. I had to rotate the tranny dipstick when I put in the intercooler piping, making it rub the hood when it's closed.
As far as I can tell the dipstick won't fit anywhere else due to space. Just wondering what anyone did.
Thanks.

I ended up cutting off the bottom of the handle on the dipstick. There's a pin that keeps the handle connected to the dipstick. I took the pin out and cut about 3/8 of an inch off the handle. Cut the same amount off of the top of the dipstick, the part that goes into the handle, redrilled the hole for the pin to fit through, and put the pin back in.
I think that will give me enough clearance for the hood now. Plus the dipstick will still read correctly. I started to try & bent the tube, but I wasn't sure where I would go with it since everything is so tight in that area & that tube isn't exactly the easiest thing to bend.
Thanks for the help guys.
