86564, OBX FMU regulators? Posted by BumpinTalon, Jun-03-05 09:40 AM
spotted one on eBay... anybody have any experience with these? they said they improved on the vortech design and stuff. the price is right, 12:1 is $120cdn, less then half the vortech. does the OBX last? does it work? will it last long enough to get me to mid-October?
searched but couldn't find much about it.

Has anything made by Matrix, OBX, APC or any of the other low rent crap-o-la companies ever turned out good?

My OBX header/downpipe worked great for over a year. it all depends on the product they copied.
as for the obx fmu, dont get it. look for a drag fmu, i got one new for $89 and it is basically if not exactly the same a the vortech.

k I went seraching for a Drag FMU and found this: http://www.overboost.com/obs/product.asp?pid=273&cat_id=13&cat_name=Fuel&sc_id=77&sc_name= but its the Vortech part number, with the Vortech picture, and the description off Vortech's website, but it is $140 cheaper then the SFMU is from summit, and it uses the pictures for the SFMU? overboost is supposedly a good store so I am tempted to buy it, but I dunno what I am getting... where did you get the drag fmu from?

overboost is showing you a picture os a SFMU but the description is for a FMU. Kinda lazy way of listing products.
See the caption, "actual product may differ from actual photo" The average Vortech FMU on ebay goes for 90.00, have you tried looking there?

when I looked, most of the cheapest ones were 1:1.. I am in canada so that cuts down my selection of cheap eBay products quite a bit
