Would this be a good deal?

And would it be a good turbo for me? I'm not looking to make a super car... just give it some power... its not gonna be a V8 smoker or anything... I don't know a lot about the different turbos... but I do know a good deal about how they work... so don't say anything like "If you need to ask that question, you don't need the turbo" or anything

Also, I will be building my bottem end and some other mods before I put it on...

Thanks

Well it all depends on you. If you are not looking for big numbers then something like that will spool quick and give okay power. Buying that turbo to me is not a good idea because it does not leave room for making more power beyond 200hp. Since you are not fimilar with choosing a turbo you must research on this topic by reading the turbo map. I believe on www.turbocalculator.com explains how to read a turbo map to choose for your application. So read up:rolleyes

I know you said you "understand how turbos work" but in order to custom turbocharge our cars, you have to be relatively familiar with the platform's quirks. Do you really think you've done enough research up to this point to be able to construct a turbo setup for your car?

Not a flame, just think you should consider reading, reading, reading, reading and then when you're done, reading some more, on this site about turbocharging the 420A.
