I am almost done my setup but I am getting worried about my fuel setup.


I have a vortech fmu with 12:1 disk in it and I have stock injectors in. I am worried about rereaching really high fuel pressures with this setup. I am going to run 7psi intercooled. So that would be adding a ton of fuel pressure to my injectors. Is this safe?


I also have some turbo eclipse injectors sitting around, should I incorporate them into my setup? Then the FMU is useless to me right? I would be running way to rich then.


Any thoughts please.

7 PSI is fine with stock fuel injectors but not much higher, Just hook your FMU up the right way and everything will be fine!

to the other guys, i did search and found a few answers but I was still unsure, plus it looks like that would bring my fuel pressures avove 100psi, well i know the same questions over and over are annoying, but i did search. I still want to know if i should use the eclipse turbo injectors or not?

if you really wanted to you could use those injectors, but you would have to re-calibrate the fmu and have something like the s-afc to tune the injectors with. but the star kit comes with the 12:1 fmu and the stage 2 runs 8 psi.
