did u just use regular steel exhaust tubing for them pipes? i just ordered cheap ebay intakes and used alot of connectors but im not too happy with it. id rather one or 2 max solid pipes.

thanks for the comments guys.
ya that is just steel exhaust piping, i ordered 3 mandrel 2" bends from summit. actually the bend right by the throttle body is actually part of my old exhaust system lol! :D but everything thing else was just the mandrel bends, they had pretty long legs. i tried to keep the welding to a minimum cuz the welder i was using sucks, so thats why there 5 pieces. but im very happy with it,and it is much faster.
keep the comments coming, i appreciate it.

Good stuff. If you want to write something up in HTML I wouldn't mind having that on this site too.

wow man you continue to impress me. LOL about those welds too, but hey it's functional. nice gradual bends in everything. I want to make everything with the smallest # of pipes too, but it'll only work out if I can get pipes that make like a 20 degree bend over 2 feet, where can I get stuff like that?

HAHA thanks guys. i know, my welding sucks. but i was never really taught how to weld, i just taught myself. so its definatly not good or pretty, but it gets the job done.
i have no idea where you would get a bend like that lol. maybe find a shop with a mandrel bender that will bend what you want

i was just looking at it, i apologize for all of the spelling errors. i was determined to get it done in that one night, so it was real late and i was really tired.

cut and weld it cut it into sections and just weld it back together. take out pie slice-shaped sections wherever you need it to curve. you can make wwhatever curves you want like this, but damn its ugly.

I recommend a 220v mig (using shielding gas) for beginners (with enough capable current to weld the thickest material you will want to), which can be had for as low as $300 (w/ a filled tank and regulator). I'm sure there are books out there that will let you know what makes a good weld and probably talk about torch control. I learned the basics from a fellow welder, but most of it is about practice.

You want to use as little as weld as possible, which takes time and practice. To make the welds look clean you can grind them down with a bench grinder.
