i need to rebuild my t3/t4, its a 57 trim, its leaking oil and shit, so what would you guys do??? i was thinkin on goin on e-gay and buy one of the rebuild kits, with that said, is ther any upgrades or porting i could do to this thing to make more power??

If you can do it without changing the index of the wheels to the shaft, feel free. Mark how everything is indexed together.

Now that I think about it, where did you get the 57 trim? Is it from e-bay? If so, it's probably an SS Autochrome / Turbocalculator / Stone Racing turbo. I recall them having a 57 trim with a glued-together compressor housing. If you have one of those, use it as a decoration for a fishtank or something.

atually i got the turbo from a friend, the turbo spins freely and has 0 shaft play at all, i was goin to rebuild it for safety sake but allwell, seeing that my friend said it didnt smoke or anything and it has 0 shaft play i guess its ok...thanks for all you help...heh

If you do, do it make ure you get a kit with the 360 Degree thrust bearing. Standard kits do not come with that and most likely yours wil have it since its one of the t3/t4 hybrids.
