8577, Under Construction, Where is IAC?

Murix or someone, where is the idle air controller usually mounted at, I recently obtained the EMIC shop manuals, or if not, a very good tuning aid for the DFI, but first I am stepping myself through the installation process to verify that everything has been installed that is supposed to be there, sensors, wires, etc... Then hopefully I will find out why some of the sensors are not functioning... Thats what I hate about buying a car that someone else has worked on, you never know what kind of a person they were...mechanically...

As far a the EGR is concerned, is there a performance difference between having it hooked up or having it ripped out and welded shut? I will probably never pass emmisons ever again in this car anyways, so dont let that sway your oppinion.

The IAC (or ISC, or idle air servo, or whatever..) is located on the back of your throttle body. There are only two sensors back there: the throtle position sensor, and the idle speed control motors. The IAC is the sensor on the bottom.
