I have my 270cc injectors installed, and running nice at 8 psi. Now I have the idle pressure set at 45 psi, and the boost pressure at 85 psi per Hahn. What pressure should I set it for to turn the boost up to 10 and 12 psi? I don't plan to run 12 very often, but I'd really like to get 10 psi daily. Hahn would only tell me the pressure to set for 8 psi. They told me that if I set the regulator at 85 for 8 psi, that it would automatically be set when I turned up the boost. This makes perfect sense but I'd like to know what pressure I should be seeing so that I can monitor it. Any help with this would be great. I searched and searched but couldn't find what I'm looking for.

you're not gonna hit 12 effectively with 270cc. I doubt if you'll be hitting 10 effectively.

From what the tech at Hahn told me, this set up will be good for 10 psi. My intention is to move on to MS someday. I'm probably going to switch out in the fall. But at the same time I don't put but 2000-3000 miles a year on my car. I just show it and take it to the track now and then. So if I get it running 10 psi well on these 270's I may just leave it alone. :shrug

I would not push past 10 psi with those injectors at all, if you want to keep relatively sane fuel pressures. At 10 psi, I would run at least 100 psi. And thats a lot of fuel pressure(eh not really that "sane"). Your injectors will be begging for mercy :) I've actually run up to 120 psi on the stockers before, and surprisingly, they didnt jam shut from the pressure. From my own experience, anything past 100 psi fuel pressure or so, doesnt result in much, if any more fuel flow from the injector.

Yeah I'm realizing that more and more. I wish that I would have gotten the 310s. But I let the tech at Hahn talk me out of it. I was running 120 psi with the stockers as well so at least I lowered the pressure some. Thanks for the input guys! :thumbsup

You should be fine with those injectors and up to 11lbs of boost.

Double ditto on that. It isn't worth it.

Be careful....regardless of your fuel pressure...your stock pistons get scared at 10psi...ringlands to be more specific...

The only thing stock in my motor are the rods. And I don't plan on running over 12 psi on it until I replace those. But like I stated before I'm not after the max hp I can squeeze from it. I just want a fun car to drive and beat up on a few V8's now and again. Hell, I may stop @ 10 psi if I can get it tuned well enough.
