I just got done cranking the car up, the exhaust manifold is off, so it was loud as hell, but i am relieded it started. After so many problems and a mechanic screwing my rebuild kit up, i just ordered the short blcok from howell and put everything together myself. I learned alot from doing it myself and the help you guys gave me. Thanks to everyone on 2gnt for the help and guiding me through everything. I appreciate it and hope to some day help others out on here. I will finishing everything up tomorrow.

Nice, its awesome how much pride you have into your car after you do something like that congrats.

Only one problem that needs fixed, i have coolant leaking from the bottom bolt on my thermostat housing. I cracked the housing in one plave by overtightening, but will get a new on tomorrow. Hopefully i can fix that, i drove it and it feels and sounds good and better then before. It does feel good, i finally did something right, lol.

Damn I thought having my car down for 2 months was bad!
