I can't get the o2 sensor off of my stock downpipe. I'm using an o2 sensor removal socket and a 1/2" socket wrench, and it still wont't come off. The sensor bolt is starting to strip a little. Also, does anyone have any advice for unplugging the the oil pressure sensor? Any help is appreciated. TIA.

use a 16(?) point socket instrad of the regular 5(?) point one. Use some "break loose" spay (im blankin on the name of that stuff...) and if that don't work, use a combination of any one of those two and a torch to heat up the DP around the sensor...

Get PB Blaster and use a torch.

If that doesn't work, use a longer breaker bar. If that doesn't work, throw a long piece of pipe on the end of the breaker bar. If you round off the hex on the sensor, remove the O2 sensor socket and breaker bar, and use a pipe wrench.

Bottom line: use.more.force.

Thanks for the help guys. I ended up just completely unbolting the stock downpipe, unplugging the end of the o2 sensor opposite the downpipe, and then used vice grips and a cheater bar to wrench it loose while my friend stepped on the downpipe.

Sounds like it was an all day project!:7
