What turbo is that?! It's like an HRC/Star hybrid.

That's definitely not an HRC mani, the exhaust flange is different but it looks like everything else is the same.

Is the exhaust outlet 2.5"? You'll need something like this 2.25", but a steeper angle coming off the turbo.


It looks like the bolt position on HRC's downpipe is totally different than yours, the bottom-most bolt is slightly towards the front of the car. On yours, the bottom bolt is more to the rear of the car.

Yours is a MUCH better setup, as the bottom bolt is accessible easily. The exhaust shop should have NO problem fabricating something to mate up to that.

It's an internally gated T3 with a standard 5bolt -> 3 bolt discharge adapter.

he has a t3/t4 turbo with the wastegate housing bolted onto it, thats why he doesnt need the 5 bolt flange onthe downpipe. the manifold has the same flange the hahn kit uses but his looks to be a custom one!

Its definitely custom. The HRC mani uses a straight head->manifold flange, not wavy like Sike's.


At any rate, you should have plenty of room to custom-make a 2.5" downpipe. The end of the turbo on your car is just slightly right of the water neck on the radiator. Same place the HRC turbo ends. And you have better bolt placement.

It's on, running 5psi. I chopped up the old down pipe and had my exhaust guy tack it onto the new flange temporarily, and connected the end of that to the downpipe from my GReddy header. Everything is running great, fuel is still in tune from when I had the old turbo on. I'm sooooo happy. BANME!.

i too was rocking the zip-tied intercooler for a while before i got the HRC unit. nice!

Yeah its a little ghetto. It has one bolt holding it on in the top middle and zip ties to keep it from wobbling lol. The only down side to how I have my setup now, is I had to remove the A/C fan in order to get the O2 sensor in the downpipe. I don't have A/C anyway because the last time i was turbo'd the A/C line got too hot and busted driving on the highway... The car was engulfed in smoke inside and out, i was like uhhhh SHIT. I'll probably take the compressor off soon, and get a UDP while im at it. If anyone needs an A/C compressor, i'll sell it $35 shipped, let me know. TURBO FAWKING ROCKS. psssssssst!
