84463, Wall clearance and other stuff Posted by TXTurboGS, Mar-30-05 04:56 PM
I am rebuilding my engine and I purchased some Weiseco .040 over pistons. So I am boring the bloc, but I need to know how tight the piston must fit, wall clearance that is. Also, I am using Crower rods, what kind of bearings should I use with them? Any other pertinent info is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I thought the spec sheets came with the pistons? That would say what your bore should be though.

yea, they are right.
And AFTER the motor is bored you should get a spec sheet of everything they did to it and the tolerances.
Use Clevite bearings for the crank and the rods imo.
