Run stock 4g63t 440's in their 420a with radioshack resistors??

If so how has it went?

What options do I have?

I just want to know I have a friend that is going to give me a mint set of them and I want to run them, but if not I'll just buy some that plop right in.

thanks

They work fine, Ive known a few people that used them. But you still need something to control them like and afc/sfmu or ms n such.

They are too big for the ecu to handle. So if you can get some cheap and run the resistor mod ur golden...

The 4g63 does not use 440's.........they use 450's. and they work fine with supporting mods. I have a harness and injectors prewired and ready to install if your interesed. Plug and play for the most part. you will need a sfmu and AFC.

DSM 450s will work fine in the 420a with a sfmu. Just wire them up with a resistor box from a late 80s, early 90s honda. Heres a link to help with that. http://www.neons.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=86343&highlight=wiring+resistor+box+dsm+450s

you can also use turbo 4g63 resistor pack. any honda with a resistor pack should work. 89-91 i know has the same one shown in the picture of the neon page.
