and does the fuel supply line come from the left or right side of the fuel rail when looking in the egine bay from the front of the car on a 99 gs?

when looking at the car the fuel supply should come in from the right side
just find the test port the fuel in line will be on the opposite end

are you splitting the fuel line and giveing each rail its own return line back to the fpr or are you running them in a series

as far as the gringing goes
a good old fashion dremel with a carbide grinding stone should work
its just aluminum
