I just put on a brand new t3/t4 turbo and it smoked real bad and blew oil out the exhaust. I am running a 3/8" braided feed line that runs up to the 1/8" fitting on the turbo, could this be putting too much oil in the turbo and thus forcing the oil out the seals in the turbo. I checked for kinks in the return line and didnt have any.

Is it possible to have too much oil?

Are you sure your oil return line is not below the oil level in your oil pan? Also, a 3/8" line is pretty big, but that shouldnt matter..

sounds to me like whats happening is your FEED is to large for the RETURN. its flowing to much oil, and it has no where to go but out the CHRA seal.

yeah, their right. My star kit oil feed line is 1/4"and also uses a restricter with screen filter at the turbo.

My return line is at the top of the pan, it is well above the oil level. So, if I was to put something in the line to restict flow, would that help my problem?

i would just install a smaller oil feed line. do you have any pictures of your setup? 3/8 feed, 1/4 return? you want the return larger than the feed because you dont want that oil staying in the turbo for very long.

My return is 5/8"

That sounds about right on the return, so what that leaves is the feed line and the turbo itself and possibly the pcv system.You said your feed line is 3/8" going into an 1/8" fitting. I would change that to either an 1/8" or 1/4" line and double check your pcv system to see if it's sucking up oil. Have you checked your spark plugs to see if the oil is coming from before the turbo? If all else checks out possible bad turbo from the start?
