LAST EDITED ON 12-Sep-01 AT 12:17 PM (PST)In the latest SCC, they mention that Magnaflow has mandrel bent stainless steel straights and bends. You could polish that up pretty nice. Be sure to post if you find anyone with thin aluminum piping. The only aluminum pipe I can find is either too small diameter or has walls that are too thick. I got heavy black rubber/fabric couplers from NAPA. They are strong, affordable, and look great.

thanx for the info. Yeah RRE has a lot of stuff but it's pricey. I'm gonna try a muffler shop and ask them how much they'll make U bends for me.
Speed Merchant- 30 dollars for a U bend (YIKES)

JC Whitney- Sell 90, swaged, 180 U bends, for 7-17 dollars in various piping diameters. http://www.jcwhitney.com/product.jhtml?CATID=14721&BQ=jcw2
Jegs- Sells Dyno Max/Hooker mandrel bends for 11-30 dollars, stainless steel too, in various sizes. http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=5060&prmenbr=76&lastcat=2314
Summit- Hooker mandrel bent pipes, various sizes- $10-20 http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=%2Fproduct%2Easp%3Fd%3D8%26s%3D90%26p%3D766%26searchtype%3Decat
RRE- Might as well post the link for comparison http://www.roadraceengineering.com/mandrelbends.htm

My prob is not the intercooler piping, but the fittings... Where are you all getting these nice silicone connectors, and L shaped ones? I need something that will hold high boost cause I keep blowing radiator hose that I am using now, and those rubber ones from home depot. That always spoils a race when your whoppin some major ass, then you pop a fitting off and get a fly by. -- Brad Rickard 98 GS HRC Stage V (nuff said)

I have the reinforced rubber from RRE. It works really good. And it is only like $12 a foot (i think?).

I get these ones from the junkyard. SOme are silicon or just thick rubber. I am using quite a bit of rubber elbows though, hope it doesn't blow on me.
