I'm currently using the STAR IC, but it's a POS and i'm looking at other options. We'll see..

I'm using the HRC FMIC. Very good quality, and HUGE.
Look for my posts on it in the archives.

I'm having a starion intercooler modified at the moment. Just go to a junk yard and look around. A Saab 5000 intercooler is massive, a Saab 900 IC will make a nice easy to install sidemount. MX6 or Probe intercooler are alright also, 27 row, if you weld two of those bad boys together you will have one awesome intercooler.

A friend from my crew brought two of them back from Japan. He put one of them on his Supra TT. You can order them from Options Auto salon.. they're about 1300.00 bucks.

I have been looking at intercoolers. The intercooler from a Ford 7.3L is 30x18x2. Sounds like that's too tall. Does anyone know? Thanks.

LAST EDITED ON 04-Nov-01 AT 02:03 PM (PST)

You have to shave about 2 inches off the inner most part of the opening in the middle, and a 2"x"20" section from the bumper reinforcement. If you do it really well, you can't tell it is even cut.
Oh, you also have to cut a small portion out of the left side of the bumper reinforcement for the upper IC pipe to fit through.

Jeff, I put mine on and shaved the hell out of it but the front fascia wont go back on properly. It's kinda a force fit than anything. Its on but I can tell the part near the turn signals should be more straight. What aftermarket front fascia would go over it without shaving??
