i opened up the bov and took out the smaller of the two springs, and put it back together, now when i drive it blows off exactly when i let off the throttle. Before it would blowoff like a second after i did. but the weird thing was it would make this really high pitched electronical beep noise only when i boosted hard which didnt sound right, was it suppose to do that?

Yes, mine does that too. Sort of like at the end of the whistle it makes a sort of 'tink' noise, like metal on metal or like yo said an electronic beep. My buddy's GSR-T does the same thing with his Tial BOV but like of the freeway, cruising when he lets off the gas. You might wanna check also if it's open at idle, mine is but closes almost instantly when the throttle is tapped. I don't mine cuz I only boost a couple pounds and it's worth the BOV sounding off at 1psi.

well the bov doesnt blow off at all, it just makes that slight beep at afterwards, and i had it at loose as possible.

i take one of the springs out and it blows offs instantly and pretty good

Ase you losing pressure through your BOV whil driving now. As long as it doesn't open before you let off it's cool. I have heard that some people take out the spring and have a boost leak after that.

as far as i could tell i am not. i rev it up and everyhign and until i let off the throttle, it dont blow off anything out the port, i put my hand over it to check. and it seems to be more responsive this way and eliminates that high pitched beep.

the low boost fluttering
how many turns on the adjustment screw did you end up with after you took the spring out

like just after it catches

is that just after the screw catches in the bov or the holding nut catches on the screw

the first way would put the spring pretty tight
the second very loose

if you take the screw out, and then put it back in and start tightening it, right until there is pressure from the plate inside the bov, which i would assume is loose because most of the screw is still exposed.

i didnt have any luck with the spring mod
it was so loose that it wouldnt hold boost for some reason

so i put the small spring back in and put it back about 6 turns out
then i did the lower nipple hookup
it seems to have fixed my fluttering problems

it blows off a lot quieter
with no flutter and it holds boost

Thats what I had to do also.

so i should plug my vac line into the lower nipple on the bov? i put the spring back in my bov so both are there, now it doesnt blow off at all and its set as soft as possible, all i get is compressor surge.

it isnt a technically vacuum line like the one that goes to the upper nipple
it is the line that goes from the compressor outlet to the wastegate actuator
or in my case from the compressor to the boost controller switch back to the actuator
i just put a T into the out line and then to the lower nipple

i have read a lot of people say do it
others say not to
for me it worked so i am leaving it

i heard you have to put in two o rings to seal it out, can you explain wehre they go exactly? and what size

i am stumped on that one

Check a post I made about BOV flutter. Jamesman posted a nice diagram that shows exactly where they go. If you don't have them in there you will leak boost. It is also only good for 12 psi, so if you run 12 or higher, I would go back in and take them out.
