I put in my Apexi TT with the greddy harness, I soldered in the o2 wire and the ground wire spiced in the e-brake wire. I am getting 2.80-4.80 on the o2 reading and no reading out of the A/F(---). I searched for a while and could not find S#%T. (Maybe a bad o2?) all help is very appreciate. I'm lost

First off, get the ground off of the ebrake wire. That wire only gets a ground when the ebrake is pulled up.. Ground it to the body of the car, under the dash somewhere, where its good, clean, bare metal. I like to use a ring terminal with a good self tapping screw. Also, which wire did you tap into for the o2 sensor? It's a white wire with a black stripe, right at the ECU. I believe its the only white/black wire in there.

i believe if you're going to hook up the 02 wire you need to ground the safc to a ground on the ECU and not the chasis somewhere...thats what the manual says anyway

yes you have to ground the unit to the ground on the ECU. you have a bad ground right now. ive experienced it myself.

The ECU gets it's ground from the chassis, people. Look at your driver side fender by the ECU. You will see a few black wires bolted to the fender. That's the ECU ground..It really doesnt matter, AS LONG AS its a good, clean, low resistance ground.

Yeah the ground location is not the issue. Do make sure it is solid though... As for the voltage issue, are you sure you went into the right wire??? That voltage sounds more like the sweep of one of the 0-5 volt sensors under the hood. As for the A/F reading your O2 has to warm up before you will get those readings. So either you have a bad O2 or you spliced into the wrong wire at the ECU. I'm voting you tapped the wrong wire...

i'm voting that he never let the o2 sensor warm up to get a REAL reading.

let it run for a minute.

white with a black stripe? top harness? is that the one you spliced into?

thanx for all the replys... I did solder to the white wire w/ the black stripe, and grounded to the ecu. still dont know what is up with it. I drove home from my school yesterday about thirty miles and my a/f acually gave a reading of 10.0 right before i got off the Parkway. Still trouble shooting???? any ideas (o2 sensor?)
