1) i bought the HRC downpipe and testpipe...both use the 3-bolt flange. i plan on getting a 3" exhaust built and am wondering if the 3-bolt flanges are readily available at most exhaust shops?

2) considering the exhaust cut-out mod...can you get a y-pipe to use for the cut-out that is a 3" y-pipe that splits into 2 3" pipes? and if so, is it possible to run both a cut-out as well as run the non-dumped pipe into dual mufflers? is there enough space under the car for 2 3" exhaust pipes as well as a 3" cut out pipe? (this is going to be very expensive)

if you have a dump, then there is no need for dual 3" pipes, nor a single 3" pipe at that. you could just have stock size pipes run down to dual mufflers.

the only advantage of having both would be if a track doesn't let you run with the cut-out open.

the only reason i need duals is that i have a rear bumper thats designed for dual exhaust. so i will probably just buy two cheap mufflers (greddy doesnt sell the evo muffler by itself) and just run the second one into the OEM piping. my other question is this...when the dump valve opens, the exhaust exits through both the dump and the OEM pipe, correct? or does the butterfly valve close off the stock pipe when it opens thedump pipe?

yeah, but if you're going to have a dump, there is no need for 3" piping. just weld an "extension" off of your stock pipe and put a muffler on it. jerry-rigged i know, but it's not going to be serving a purpose anyway lol.
