I was just wondering where people in here have mounted their nitrous bottles. I want to mount mine in my trunk but the only place i really see to mount it is on the cardboard/wood spare tire cover and I really don't want to do that because it feels flimsy and will probaly move around under hard cornering or braking. The last thing i need is the nitrous hose ripping off the tank and filling my car with n20.

I had mine mounted like in the pic, I got rid of the "flimsy" and made a diamond plate spare cover. Alot of people mount them just above it and sideways above the access panel/flat spot/right behind the rear seats, just make sure your pick-up tube in the bottle will be angeled the right way under acceleration so you will still get the "juice" going down the track.

i, like many others, have opted to conserve trunk space and put my bottle on the little hump that is directly behind the rear seats. the little "step" if you will that runs in line with the strut towers. fits perfectly and there is metal there to attatch your bottle to.

You should mount your bottle with the valve facing fwd and the bottom of the bottle facing the back of the car. Mounting the bottle sideways is what all the manuals and tech pubs say not to do.

This is the way it should be done, even the behind the seat method the bottle can be angeled to pick up in the right way, but it is better to go front to back.

works fine for me. its at the proper angle to where the siphon tube gets its fill. its worked for countless others
