So I went to drill the manifold and the instructions say 8.4mm...I drill it then I go to tap it and to my surprise the probe is too small, I drilled too big. So I get a 1/8 NPT fitting from Home Depot and check to see if the probe would thread into it. Nope... Was your probe like this too? Well, I broke the SOB so now I'm just gonna get the Team Rip probe, re-tap the hole for a 1/8 NPT (cuz apparently it's not too big) and go from there. Alvin

I had the same problem. I just found a fitting laying around that fit and put it on. I stripped it out again when I pulled the engine this time. Let me know if the team rip probe works.
BTW is yours in C too?
