I recently changed out all of my turbo piping on my 1997 eclipse GS 420a with aftermarket turbo, from the turbo to the intercooler and from the intercooler to the throttle body. I drove the car down the road and when i went to shift instead of the blow off valve going pa shhhhhh, it made pa pa pa pa pa noise. What could cause this??? Could it be a leak in the piping?? Thanks, -Brian

It's doing it because you posted this in Performance/Engine and not THE TURBO SECTION where it should go.
Boost leak, probably. Built a boost leak tester and find it.

if this WERE in the right section I may suggest that its compressor surge if your bov isn't hooked up or something.
