i don't know which turbos are better for different things by seen the little t3 t04 crap so help me out. i wanna good size turbo to put some real pressure out but i don't wanna big lag. i'd like ball bearings to ensure some durability. i wanna be a street light warrior. i can deal with lag but not alot. i don't wanna get into nitrous just yet. i know it can be done safely and all but i wanna try the turbo out and see if it can kill enough of the local v-8's to get osme respect. if not i'll go with a lil shot of nitro to spool'er up.

i dunno if you read my other post but im doni a bored TB and gettin a new iac cause i'm pretty srue mine is shot. new plug wires like 8.5mm and bkr7e-11's

btw, i'm going through hahn. unless there's another name that's as good for cheaper. no star, even if you could get ahold of them i don't want them they don't seem to be thinkin the same as me, seems like they made a simple basic turbo setup for our n/t cars and that's all they wanna handle. i wanna be a little above normal but not carzy 11 second madness maybe low to mid 13's say.

also, i heard NER has some bad ass FMIC's i'd like one if it was possible. but i'm not quite ready to go ahead and buy stuff yet so maybe their kit will be ready then. hmmm

You need to do a lot of reading on general turbo knowledge. Search the archives. Search the net for more info (be careful of bad info) Buy corky bell's book on turbocharging.

dudes i know all about how turbos work i explain it to everyone in school and what not i just wanna know which turbo that hahn offers is good for me. i want the most streetable power possible no ultimate drag setup like pure rage is doin. no offense of course but this is my daily driver.

Well, if you want the best streetable turbo for a 420a engine, go with Hahn's Super20G, I think its the biggest turbo they make for our cars, and the lag is not too bad, definately streetable. I think they make a green turbo or some shit, but I've only seen them for the 4g63 but I think they're a little bigger than the 20g....

If you want Hahn you'll never see T3/T4 or T anything so dont worry about it. Learn about the Gs and 7cm and 10cm housings. What do you consider REAL pressure. 16Gs with smaller 7cm housings than Hahns have run 11s. I think its safe to say anything they offer can provide REAL pressure. Lag is a non-issue for the most part.

Sounds like you want the basic 16G to me.

Sounds like you want the basic Super 16G to me. There is no need for nitrous. If you NEED it you have selected the wrong turbo. If you WANT it there's some major fuel system changes that have to take place.

a t3/t4 isnt "little"

thanks guys i'll do some reasearch on those two turbos and all. i'm lookin for like low 13's with my driving. lag wise i can deal with being fully spooled at like 3500 i'm goin 3inch exhaust and some other major mods. i was just rattlin off some of the first things that came to mind with the 'T' stuff.
