I still needed to ask. I had my bottom end rebuilt about 1 yr ago and I had my exhaust mani studs replaced. I think they were the ARP mani studs but I am not 100% sure. I am getting ready to install a stage 2 HRC S16G and was wondering if the ARP ones I think I have on, would be sufficient to hold the mani and turbo or not???

It is very desireable to use studs on the HRC manifold. A couple of the holes require studs to even work. The only problem I can think of is if the studs are too long. They could interfere with the runners on a couple of the holes. If they are stock length, you will be fine.

yes they are stock length because I remember the place where I had my rebuild done specifically asked me if I wanted the stock length. So I should be able to just mount the HRC mani using the studs and bolts I have, Is that right???

If they are ARP studs they are too long. They have a 1/4" extention with a Alen socket on the end for installation. So they wont work. They hit the runners and you have no way to fit a 12pt wrench over the stud to torque the nut.

Just go to Satan and get the 8mm 4G63 studs and bolts.
