i recently bought an oil temp gauge.

im wondering what you readings are and where did you mount the sensor.

i have one from cyberdyne
i T'd off of my stock oil pressure sender behind the block for the temp sender and mounted the gauge on a pillar pod
cold reading of course depends on outside temp
but after running (my gs is turboed also)
it has gotten up to 180-190F

yeah i thought i would T off the oil feed line behind the motor. intersting temps. thanx for the info

I put the sensor in the oil pan. In the summer with 90 degree temps my oil temp got as high as 240. Which is a little warm I think. I'm going to put an oil cooler on it before spring.

I also put mine tee'd off the back of the block where my turbo line is and I read around 180-190, but I do also have a good sized oil cooler.

Get the weld-in bung and put it in your oil pan.

yeah, i have an oil cooler and remote oil filter (i run an F150 size filter now)

im going to install it on the back of the motor where the turbo oil line is.
