7991, RE: ok i think i'm goin turbo Posted by DarkOne, Sep-05-01 04:17 AM You can't run 720cc/min injectors with an SAFC. An SAFC will only shorten or lengthen the injector pulse +/- 50%. Half of 720 is 360, so even leaned out 50% at idle, you will still run rich enough to foul plugs and belch black smoke. They say the the highest you can tune for without those issues are 550's.. and those are a bit iffy, IMO. I run 440's, leaned out 48% at idle, and i'm purring like stock. | |

Since you will have stock internals, you will not be running that much boost anyway. To go any larger woudl require some type of ecu management like an Accell and now your are getting costly. | |
