79492, Need an honest answer quick!

Ok here is my delema, I was first going to sell my car and buy a GSX, then I was like no I will just turbo the one I have and sell my enclosure to help by me a turbo kit. Then I got to thinking again and I am like the GSX is already built to handle a turbo setup so I should just buy the GSX.

What should I do so I have the least amount of headaches and walletaches in the long run, honestly. Please put aside your devotional side of turboing an N/A and please let me know what would be the best for me in the long run as a daily driver. I don't need it breaking down on my all the time.

Thanks!!!

man, your car is pimp...it really depends how much devotion you have for you car and it really seems that put a lot of time and effort on it. I'd say keep the car you have and turbocharge it, keeping at low psi. Again, your car looks great and it would suck to throw it all away. Just another 3-4 Gs and you got yourself a "stock GSX;" but better. THats my opinion...

uh, no. maybe in 1/4 times, but um, no.

sounds to me like you already know what you want to do. sounds like you are already convincing yourself to get the X.

proabably no downtime
reliable if it was taken care of
get a boost controller and gauge and be happy(you'll be happy just stock, believe me, but, just to make it more fun)
and dun, dun, dun, AWD.

Sounds like you want a GSX. If you just want to buy a nice quick car buy the GSX. Turboing a 2gnt is a very difficult process, honestly. I think it's worth it. But FWD is a bitch. I wouldn't trade my 2gnt for a gsx, but that's just me.

i will say my love affair with my 2gnt is a strange one. i wouldnt trade it for anything either. i absolutely love the car. i dont know what it is, i think just the personal satisfaction of turbo'ing an n/a car. its almost like an obsession.

if you are worried about reliability and want an honest to goodness daily driver, with proper upkeep either car is fine. just as a drive and forget car neither would be my first choice. my 1g burns a oil, my 2g well, doesnt really have any problems.

Well, I have both and eventhough my tsi awd is fun as hell to drive I'd still pick my turbo 420a over it. Gas mileage on my awd sucks balls. I'm getting around 20 miles per gallon in it whereas my eclipse is getting around 30 while running 18psi and I don't drive it like a grandma. In my honest opinion, your car looks badass and it'd be a shame to see it go so I would say to turbo your eclipse.

Buy it for the AWD if anything. Sure it's expensive to turbo the 420a but that doesn't mean you need a car that came turbo'ed. The AWD is nice to have.

Since you haven't really spent $$ towards performance on your n/t, get the GSX.

Keep your car!! You could just park your car and buy a 1g awd for less than what a turbo kit would cost. I bought mine for 1500 on ebay..
