I was looking at pricing for the HRC stage I & II. I will ultimatly get a stage II setup with the FMIC. But as far as pricing goes, it appears to be cheaper to just get the Stage I with the FMIC upgrade. If i calculated correctly it would be around $3200 for it. On the other hand the Stage II with the FMIC option goes for 3400+. If this is the case, what exactly is different and why is there such a gap between prices? Is there something else in the Stage II thats different besides the IC ? please any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

The only different between the one you say a stage one versus a stage two is the presence of the ic, and a higher waste gate, but the price is mostly effected by the ic. No offense, but this is whole thing is getting rediculous.

If you want to play the game you have to spend the money.

while that is true, there comes a point where the prices do become rediculous.

Here is a thought bro, instead of attacking the mans pricing in a public fourm, why not just call him and ask a few questions??? The number is on the website my friend call him and discuss prices it's no big deal. Also if you think the stage 1 w/IC option is better then just buy it... no need to make a post about it. It's been said 1000 times if your looking for high power on the cheap and can tech support your self, then buy a star kit. If you want quality R&D, Years of experience in engineering kits for these cars, a company that stands behind their products, killer customer service and ongoing development then buy the Hahn kit. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.. If you want all out power for bargin basement pricing brother then star is in your future...

I wasnt attacking anything, im simply crunching the numbers and posting my findings. I ment no disrespect by anything i have stated about HRC. I will probably get their Stage II but i just want tobe sure.
Everytime i say something that isnt researched you all bitch and tell me not to go out and buy anything or do anything until i have asked you all questions and searched for tech info. Then when i ask the questions you all jump down my throat about it. No one is putting a gun to your head and making you read my posts. If you dont like it, dont read it. Or if your a moderator then move or lock the topic if you feel it necessary. Dont just reply with "this is rediculus" if your not gonna help then i dont see why you need to post a reply at all.

Not all of us. Ignore the whiney bitches.
You're forgetting that the FMIC listed on the site is not the FMIC "kit", it's just the FMIC. The FMIC kit is about $900 by itself, because it comes with the piping, couplers, clamps, mounting kit, and the FMIC itself.

i think the stage 2 upgrade with fmic is 1100. but if you dont like prices, build your own kit. its not that hard, and you end up throwing away most the peices from both kits.

exactly. the only way to get a kit for cheap is to pick a used one up from someone or piece together your own.

Stage 1 is 2295.99 and is Non intercooled.
Stage 2 with the sidemount is $2999.99
FMIC upgrade for Stage 2 is $400.Which makes Stage 2 with FMIC $3399.99
To upgrade a Stage 1 to Stage 2 if you already had a Stage 1 is $1200
2295.99 Stage1 +1200.00 Stage 1 to Stage 2 upgrade = $3495.99 Your calculations are way off.

Turbosystem, Stage 1, 95-99 Talon and Eclipse, 420A engine, 8/94 to 12/95 - 2,295.99
420A T/E Stage 1 to Stage 2 upgrade using front-mount intercooler. Necessary piping is included, and a higher-psi actuator allows 8-9 psi of boost. - 1049.99
so that's 2,295.99 + 1049.99 = 3,345.98
VS.
Turbosystem, Stage 2, 95-99 Talon and Eclipse, 420A engine, 8/94 to 12/95 - *2999.99*
Front Mount Intercooler option for the Talon/Eclipse Stage II Turbo Kit - 400.00
so that's 2999.99 + 400 = 3399.99
so that concludes you will save $54.01 with buying a stage 1 and then getting the stage 1 to 2 kit with FMIC. BUT doin that you will have two hefty shipping charges.
SO, it actually looks like it all depends how much shipping will be for all items.
