ok so im almost done with the turbo kit but i still have a question about how to install the sfmu. according to vortech your supposed to connect the fuel rail return line to the side of the sfmu and then the bottom one goes back to the tank, this i understand. i have a 96 eclipse, do i have a return line on the rail? i took of the fuel filter and the stock fpr is off it and thats where the return goes to the tank from. where does the return line to the sfmu side located at? the only thing i see going to the rail is the fuel feed line. ive searched but not found what im really looking for. thanks in advanced for the help.

Our stockers are return less, meaning, you make your own return line coming from the bottom port of the sfmu. You essentially connect the new return line, to the stock return line near of the stock fpr.

what goes into the side of the sfmu then? are we supposed to add a line from where the old fpr was taken off going to the side of the sfmu and then go from the bottom of the sfmu to the tank?

On the side of the fuel rail, the opposite line where the fuel feed line is, there is a shrader-check valve. It looks like a vavle stem on our tires. You essentially take that off (with a shrader check vavle tool from autozone), then connect it to a NEW fuel line with AN fittings; then that line goes to the side of the sfmu. Then the bottom port turns into a new return line. Look at the mods ^^^ section for whodatts sfmu install writeup. Its all there in, and helped me through my install.

I think 99% of us are pulling the schrader valve out of the other side of the fuel rail. Here you connect a -4an fuel line then to the SFMU. You have to get a -6an to -4an reducer for the SFMU. Then you have to run a return line all the way from the SFMU, back to the return side of your tank.
If I were you, Id put your fuel filter back in, you need that.
