I noticed you guys thought everybody put their car down for the winter and that this section is dead. Well I would like to share my frustrations about my car which has already been down now for three months...

Here is the latest info that I got from a email about a week ago. The tuning and map(s) for the AEM EMS...

Yes the gas IS out of the car and new 92 oct will be used for the pump gas tune.. K&S 114 will be used for the race gas map.

The wiring diagrams will be left in the car. The crank and cam sensors were wired up as a Hall Effect sensor with 8 volt inputs .



When I called yesterday this what I was told by one of the sales guys not the actual AEM tuner..

Well here is the latest problem with the tuning that is holding us up... The wiring for the Hall effect sensor has four pickup points and the EMS box only recognizes one pickup point or only has one.. :scratch

Any suggestions... :wtf

Here is a diagram of the Hall sensor, it may help you even tho it does not have pinouts. I've never used an AEM EMS so I'm not totally sure.

If you need any help with the sensors and wiring and stuff... just hit me up. ;)

This process is taking a very long time. We ran into a major issue with the syncing of the cam and crank shaft timing. After MANY, MANY phone calls and emails of data to AEM I think we have found a solution. We hoping to be able to adjust the software in order to fix the problem but, it looks like we are going to have to go even more custom. This is going to require the use of a crank trigger wheel and a pick-up. The cost of the parts are still up in the air due to just sourcing the correct teeth wheel. The cost can be
anywhere from 150.00 to 250.00 addition.

Any ideas on this guys?? This car is getting out of control...

BUMP.. This is the latest update.. Does anybody have any ideas on this?? Converting to a crank trigger wheel... Thanks for the help

ya, this is why we dont use the aem ems.
