i am making a custom subaru turbo setup for my rs. i heard i can tap into the oil p sensor with a t fittin to run my oil line to the turbo. but will the oil just flow into it and back out the return or must it be somhow forced in?? i cant find answer in search so...

It will flow through the line by itself. A good way to test it is to get it all hooked up, start the car for a little bit, shut off the car and check to make sure that oil is coming out of the end of the line at the turbo.

You will use a smaller line going into the turbo so you can get some good pressure but on the oil return you will use a bigger line so that the oil just dumps into the pan rather then spraying in at 75 psi.

be careful not to crank the car with the oil line detached...it will goo all over the place.

Yeah, the best way to do that is to disconnect the coil pack, put the new oil supply line into a jar, and have someone crank it over until oil starts to trickle out.

ok thanks. does anyone know the exact size the T must be to tap into the oil pressure sensor? also what size socket is it to remove it? would advance auto have it ?

1 1/16" (I'm pretty sure) Deep well Sending Unit Socket. It's universal anyway.

Something to think about:
When I did my custom oil setup, I did exactly that. Remove the oil pressure sender (Once you're under the car, it's all the way to the left--Mine had a green connector with one (yellow) wire coming out of it--I believe the middle one is a knock sensor, and the far right is the crank pickup). I bought a 24 inch 3/8 NPT hose from www.mcmaster.com to bring the feed up to the battery tray (relocated battery). From there, I fed it into an oil manifold I pilfered off a late 80's turbo dodge (don't know how close you are to a junkyard) Then, I could send the supply line to the turbo off of the manifold, hook up my oil pressure gauge, and oil temp (Yeah, it's not necessary, just fun) and relocate my stock oil pressure sender. It makes it easier to have all that stuff up on the top side rather than a thousand T's and going under the car. Although I have to say, soldering under the car to relocate the stock oil pressure sender was a pain :) But it was worth it in time saved in the end.
