i have used the search but havnt found what i needed really, two quick questions, if i get the slim fans from summit, part number flx-220 these will work with the stock radiator, correct? also, when i searched summit for the fans they came up puller and pusher, i understand this means which way the air is going, but what decides which you use? thanks for the help.

Now that that's taken care of, maybe you guys can answer my question. What is that big thing under the cover thingie on the front of the car? It has a black cover and some piping coming out of it. There are a lot of rubber hoses running around. Please help me, guys, I used the search, but nothing came up!

That's what I get for not reading your thread. You always want to use a puller, it is just more effecient. If space constraints are that much of a problem, though, a pusher might be a good idea. I would go with a pull, myself, especially with a FMIC.

however, if you lookup flx-220, like you listed in the original post, you would have answered your own question (unless you didn't believe the 220 was the right fan). Look up posts by me and you'll run into bunches of answers for the fans.
