77786, Clocked my turbo. Now I have a problem

What's up guys. Today I clocked my turbo, its a GT30R. I clocked it like the t3/t4 that comes with the star kit. With the outlet aiming down. Now I have a problem with the oil feed tube. Its aiming towards the radiator.Is there a way to have it aim down?

only clock the compressor housing, not the middle section.

Hes right, loosen the bolts closest to the turbine housing, rotate the center cartridge and the compressor housing seperate. Problem solved.

Err I had a feeling but I didn't want to touch those bolts because one already snapped right off. Well I'll do that now. Thanks

Okayyy.. All bolts are loosened, but it won't turn. Gimme some thoughts guys. Thanks.

TimRS. That's what I did, I only clocked the compressor housing. I think the turbine housing should be turned too but it won't turn. This turbo came out of a 4G63,so the setup was different. Even if the turbo was mounted like the ones on the 4G63, the drain tube would have still been facing the radiator but alot more lower then the way it is now. Hmmm?

do you have a pic? the compressor and exhaust housings are made to be seperated from the middle section. (im sure you already knew that) if its not moving, its most likely stuck. give it a little muscle and see...i had a "stuck" one to...

The turbine housing probably is stuck. I'll keep trying to turn it. Here's the pic.

See how the oil drain tube is facing forward.

This is how I'm mounting it. Outlet facing down but probably more towards the starter.

I guess I'll have to clock the exhaust housing and the compressor to a position where the oil drain will be facing down.
