77715, Machined Head Pictures Posted by Eclipse2NR, Oct-07-04 12:17 PM
In case anyone is interested, I picked up my head from the machine shop this evening. Had a full valve job done, and had the mating surfaces planed. They said it was a little warped, and ended up taking off about .008". Not too bad. Got brand new valve seals too.

A lot more pictures of the whole project can be found on my web site, www.team2nr.com , under the Projects section. Have a look!

Might as well jump on the bandwagon.
Those were the really cool cam gears! The belt rode on them about 50% of the way from falling off so there was less friction. I picked up 12 WHP. Ugh.

Couldn't find a picture of my SS valves, but I wanted to play too... :P

This was built by ERT. Probably the reason why it's fine and the rest of the engine is scrap metal right now... :(
