I went for a little drive today, my EGT stopped working. I was taking a ride on the highway going 70. I was on full boost till 70, I looked down at my pyro and it showed about 500-550? wtf? so I'm just going to replace it with something for responsive. What's the best EGT you guys ever tried and where did you get it. I've search but found no links. Thanks.

www.teamrip.com has a really fast reading probe. thats what most of the 4g guys use.

The probe from teamrip is the one I have with my autometer egt gauge.

The autometer probes are 100% crap.

You haven't experienced crap until you use a VDO thermocouple.

Makes autometer look medical grade.

Was the probe in the manifold? If so, check the turbine wheel that it probably hosed (well, if it came apart, anyways...)

TeamRIP probe is the sheeet! very fast, you'll see when as soon as you start the car, it moves to 850F like in 1.5 sec, not like the autometer crap that takes for ever.

I too have the team RIP one and it rox. Like said above its almost just as fast as my fuel pressure and boost guages lol. It's quick
