I finally have the money to get a FMIC. I was looking at the HRC web site and saw their new FMIC. I like the idea of having inlet and outlet on the same side. I looked at the pics and it should fit on the star kit. Does anyone know for sure and how much the new kit cost (HRC??) I saw the stage 1 to 2 upgrade for $799, but wasn't sure if that was for the side mount kit.

That price is for the side mount. The front mount is around $1100. I am doing my starion custom FMIC set up for $350..LOL..I am saving $750....Not bad huh?

how much boost can the starion efficiently cool?

I have heard that they can hold a lot of boost. Definetly enough for stage 2 or 3.

Thanks Dave. I contacted HRC and they wanted $1199 W/ no blowoff plus shiping. I decided to pass. I called import parts and got the Star upgrade kit with Greddy Type S blowoff for $1050.00 to the door. Thanks for your replies everyone.
