I know there are many variable for this like intercooler efficiency, turbo efficiency, intake air charge etc. but, on the average what would be a safe number? i'm trying to figure out what size secondaries to go with on the 8 injector setup. a friend had a set of injectors he said i could have. they ended up being the orange top 19# ford injectors. i really don't think these are going to be capable of 18-20 psi. also, when i'm finished my rebuild what is the best way to run it normally aspirated for the break in? i was thinking of just taking the wastegate spring out but i don't know what the correct way would be.

Depends on the size of the turbo. 1lb of boost is not always the same amount of air. More air requires more fuel.

it's on a t3/t4 50 trim if that helps, i'm just looking for a size injector that's not overkill but will do the job.

Get a set of 30lb injectors and you'll be good. Stock primaries and 30lb secondaries. That's enough for 545cc/fuel at peak capacity, I think.

Stock injectors are 235cc, 30lb injectors are 310cc. 235 + 310 = 545cc of fuel per cylinder.

If you had an estimate of your power goals, you could back your way into injector sizes. You would have to account for your chosen fuel pressure and primary injector size. That would let you calculate a secondary injector size. Of course, it wouldn't be 100% accurate...but its a start:

ok, i guess i will have to go with them. quick question though. will the 19#s be ok for running 7lbs during breakin until i get a chance to get bigger ones?
