76902, Hahn fuel pump Instructions vs what people are doing Posted by HeDog, Sep-25-04 08:28 AM
Hahn's instructions state that the factory fuel pump is being "replaced" by the Accel pump. This is wrong isn't it? We're suppose to keep the factory pump and "add" the Accel pump right? And if this is what we're suppose to do, do we need any power to the OEM pump since the Accel pump will have it's own power by tapping into the factory wiring for the OEM pump? Or does the factory pump need power to allow the fuel to pass through it?
:wary
Hope this makes sense.
Thanks guys.

You are running two pumps instead of one. The relay is used to activate the accel pump when the factory pump is energized.
