Well my wife and I were coming home from dinner about 11:30 and all of a sudden BAMMMMCLINKRATTLERATTLE and then I ran over somthing that sounded like metal. So first thing that comes to mind is I just grenaded my block but I still have power and all is quiet. So I pull a u turn and find the bezel of my rfl bov lying in the middle of the road. Ever hear of this happening before? I haven't. I looked at turboxs web site and I don't see just the bezel listed, do you know if I can buy this part or will I need a whole new bov. Damn thing was only on a month or so old too. Any way here are the pics.

Theren't aren't any pics. I will say that you should have gotten something better than a turbo xs bov. The Greddy Type S is nice.

Yeah it blows that fucker was brand new, BUT I got if off of egay soooo no warranty for me. And I really hope I don't get I flat from running over it. If I have a broke bov and a flat Toyo t1-s I'll be so pissed. :wallbash

Alot different. It's not near as loud, and it's kinda flat sounding now. I want another bezel, I hope I can buy one.

I would personally call it a horn, not a bezel. I've never noticed mine being loose. Hell, I don't even think mine threads on. Not positive though.

You know what would be cool? Repair it enough to screw it back on, and lock tite it. Then you would really have a conversation piece. Hell, might even change the sound to something better.

On a serious note, I would call the company. They should be able to help you.

I got in touch with TURBOXS this morning and they are going to give me a brand new valve. Thats cool as hell. They said this was the first time they had heard of the horn backing out and that they would gladly replace it free of charge. All I have to is send them the failed bov. :thumbsup

That's definitely cool of them. I blew my Greddy Types S off once and it smacked the underside of the hood. Man, was that loud. Scared the piss outta me. I ended up having a beaded lip welded onto the HRC piping and hose clamping the snot out of it. Hasn't come off since thanks to the bead. Glad I didn't drive over mine .. lol
