76015, Accel DFI tuning - anyone with experience

Major tuning will be done this labor day weekend. I'm tuning up to 30 PSI and then I'll be tuning the nitrous/fuel injection at 18 PSI.

My question: tune with the PowerTuner installed? Or disable it and tune, then hook it back up after tuning? I'm thinking that I'll have a more consistant tune-up if I leave it installed, and put the IDLE and WOT settings both at 5... then I'd have good adjustability for changes in weather, etc.

I'm sure I'll run into a few issues along the way so I'll keep this thread going and post all the graphs and shit too.

Here's what I'll be shooting for-
13.5:1 @ IDLE & CRUISING
12.0:1 @ 0
11.7:1 @ 0-10 PSI
11.5:1 @ 11-20 PSI
11.3:1 @ 21-25 PSI
11.0:1 @ 26-30 PSI

Leave it hooked up.

Yes, keep it on and tune w/ them at 5 for both. Your going to have to use higher octane for 30psi(As if you didn't already know that) But the maps you write w/ the DFI are so touchy that they wont work the same w/ a different octane that the one you used when writing the map.

I use the power controller to make those tiny adjustments to a map.

My street maps are being calibrated for up to 24 PSI on 93 octane unleaded fuel. I'm retarding the ignition a couple degrees up top.

The 30 PSI and nitrous maps will both be calibrated while running Sunoco Blue (112 octane) racing fuel. Unfortunatley, there's not enough time in the weekend to finish tuning the nitrous injection.

I'll post some logs/graphs later on. Thanks for the advise on the PowerTuner.
