75921, Update on turbo setup, and a couple of Fuel System ??s

Today I recieved my Accel Inline fuel pump from Avenger EST, So as of now i have a Missing Link, Accel Inline Fuel Pump, Vortech SFMU. Im $70 dollars away from my 14b turbo, 1st gen intercooler, 1st gen downpipe (yea i know, its gonna go under the axe) 1st gen BOV/pipe.

My first question is can some one give me a link for what return line to use with the Vortech SMFU b/c some say you're not suppose to have a bigger and some say it doesnt matter. so which one do i buy from summit or whereever, and also anyother lines i'll need(i have a 99 rs)

2nd do you see any noticable hp gains from upgrading your fuel system or does it just make installing the turbo easier.

ohh one more question should Set my wasted to 6 or 8 psi since intercooled should i just set it lower and raise it with a boost controller or should i just set it at 8 psi and not worry about a boost controller right away.

appreciate the help guys

Well, the 1G downpipe is nothing more then a fucking boat anchor for you. The bends are in the wrong direction, the height is off, the catcon flange is at the wrong angle, etc... You'd be better off using a Ferarri downpipe, for christ's sake.

I mean, seriously. Have you looked at the 1G Downpipe? There is an O2 housing that come out of the turbo and angles down. When you clock the turbo 180 degrees (you ARE going to do this, right?), the O2 housing faces straight up. What the fuck are you going to do, run the O2 housing through the hood and have the downpipe run over the roof? Golly gee, that'd be neat!

I used -4an S/S for my return line, coming from my fuel rail, and going to my fuel pressure guage. You wont see any changes if you go bigger. Too many other things are a 1/4 inch. I just hooked my SFMU up and I dont have my turbo on and I havent noticed a difference in power.
