Here's the set up & mods of the 99 gs

-star stage II turbo kit from wyatt (turbonetics t3/t04B)
-JE pistons custom stock size 8:8:1 low compression
-Eagle Rods
-Greddy Manual Boost controller

-stock injectors...

ALRITE ---> SO HOW CAN WE MAKE THIS CAR RUN AT HIGH BOOST W/O KNOCK?
CAN YOU TELL ME THE PROS AND CONS OF GETTING THE PORTFUELER VS. GETTING BIGGER INJECTORS + SFMU + SAFC?
WHICH SETUP CAN I BOOST MORE WITH?
(i believe both shud end up at about $1000)

this has been discuss countless times earlier. safc is just piggy back system. You'll be using whatever size injectors, setting fp with sfmu and tuning down some more using safc. With portfueler, you'll be given the use of additional 4 injectors that are bigger than stock and would kick in when in boost. This give's it smooth idle, because stock injectors and ecu is controlling it, then the eic would take over when in boost.

GET the PortFueler and be done with it.

yeah.. the port fueler will handle everything the sfmu + safc can do, and even more. the port fueler will allow you to run higher boost than the sfmu and afc can as wwell.

unfortunately the portfueler is taking kinda long, but it's a better choice. not much tuning required.

yeah. and the tuning you can do should be quite nice.. i can't wait to be able to adjust the fuel curve.
