75152, "SW<>PO" Switch for HKS EVCIV? Posted by GhEttOrAiD, Aug-15-04 11:12 AM
What do they mean when they say "make sure the SW<>PO switch is in the right position?"
RIght now my evc4 isn't controlling boost at all, just relying on the wastegate spring right now... Checked 80% of the hoses, no kinks or cracks... Only checked the wiring harnesses on the interior, theyre fine...
But theres this switch on the back of the control unit, SW/PO, has something to do with the type of wastegate I'm running. I'm assuming this switch hasnt changed since I bought the car (had the evc in there when I got it) and I dont remember switching it... but maybe if I flip it my problems will be solved? I dont want to damage anything...

the switch is a selector for the type of wastegate your using. either an internal (swing valve) or external (poppet style) wastegate.
hope this helps
