I spent all week getting the run around about replacing it. I hate it when people don't call you back and you have to hunt them down. Their final offer was "ship the manifold to us and you'll have the honor of shelling out $450 for a new manifold, plus we keep your old mani". I had a friend weld the crack and resurfaced the flange myself. Cost me $30. You may consider ginding the crack into a valley and filling it with a super hi-temp epoxy. Check out McMasterCarr part number 7356A33. Its especially for cast iron and stainless steel. Its rated for 2,000F and holds up very well on a turbo manifold. | |
