Ok, so I have the new built motor in, and things seem to be running fairly well. I just installed my new turbo (pte sc44) and in the vac -> boost transition, I hit serious fuel cut. It bucks and jerks and hesitates like crazy!

I have the missing link, and SAFC. I cleaned out the missing link and replaced the "filter" hoping that would help. Nope. I checked it out on the SAFC, and according to the sensor check, i never hit 4.7 volts. What gives?

What else can cause this?

Try building that home brew voltage clamp, it worked wonders for me.But first try not boosting all the way through the RPM range and see if you still get fuel cut, if you do its prob your map.:thumbsdown BTW it only cost like $15 at radioshack and takes less than 5 min to build.

I built one of those also. If you arent seeing the right voltage have you checked to make sure you hooked up the SAFC right? the input/output wires were reversed wehn i put mine in and it bucked like mad when ever i went into boost. check that. it was awesome!lol

I've had my AFC in for over a year without issues. Pretty sure it's hooked up correctly.

Changes in the software can do that too. Make sure its still set on PRESSURE, not KARMAN or HOTWIRE.

If you unplug the MAP sensor and drive it, does it act any different?
