Cant believe it,new turbo just hit 2000 miles and it started fuckin shootin oil out. I am not havin any luck anywhere. But I need the car to drive for about another week? Anyone know what I could do to bypass the turbo? I thought about just pluggin the oil feedline, but the turbo wouldnt get any oil at all, and I guess thats bad b/c it will still be spinnin even tho its fucked. Man Im so fed up.

whoa whoa whoa there. ok yea you dont want to starve that turbo of oil EVER as long as its bolted to the motor. the bearing case will get wayyy to hot and you'll end up with a lot more problems than a (more than likely) CHRA seal thats blown. my best reccomendation is to first off...answer me these questions

-what turbo?
-wheres the oil feed coming from?
-oil feed is in fact on the oil port on the turbo, not the coolant port
-oil DRAIN line back to the tank is LARGER than the feed line going into it

other than that, take it off or rebuild it if its blown. being NA is certainly better than having a blown turbo and out of the game for another 900$

you might have a defective turbo after 2K, contact the person you purchased it from and see if they have a warranty

good luck man

LMFAO GOOD ONE CLINT

LoL but yea, I was just looking at the engine bay while it was running and the stock holes that were drilled in the compressor housing to mount the internal wastegate. Oil would pour out of that bolt hole...wtf mate.

Wow, some people have a turbo that's been problem free (knock on wood), and some have absolutely no luck. Sorry dude. I always liked your car.
