yeah, I think its called shaft play. The wheel on the inlet has a *slight* wobble, and I can hear the edges grinding. how do I fix this? Any volunteers in the northern delaware area wanna peep it out? It survived the 1778 mile trip :)

where do you live? a friend of mine's boyfriend is looking to buy an eclipse.

Just drive the fuckin thing till it starts to leak oil. Until then, it's fine and you shouldn't worry about it.

why would he haveto rebuild his engine for shaft play...unless he waits a long time wouldnt just the turbo be FUBAR??..25g imo..

16G<20g<25g

Depending on your t3/t4 trim and size a 25g will most likely not be a step down its huge. You can drive on the car till the turbo just can't take it. You don't have to rebuild the motor, just the turbo, which is around 200-300 bucks. If its not burning oil, or not boosting then I would worry about it.

ah my bad Im so fuckin sleepy I didnt realize you had a star kit..and I didnt know yu didnt have a bottom end allready built. I thought you were refering to the turbo ruining your engine anyway.

haha my shaft is playing with itself, does it have a mind of its own, mine doesn't do that without err help...

it seems to be doing it less and less either its knocked itself back in balance or enough of the fins/sides have worn away to not make as much noise.

my 14b was pretty bad, I drove it untill it started smoking bad.
